I just wanted to take time out today and address the fact that it is World Aids Day! There are millions of people who are living with HIV and either don’t know it or don’t know how to treat it. In this day and age HIV is no longer a death sentence and people can live long, health, and prosperous lives with the disease.
Even with all this technology we are still living in a time where talking about HIV is taboo and people don’t want to address the issue let alone get tested.
Ignorance may be bliss, but knowledge is power. Go out and get yourself tested today!
The Keep A Child Alive Organization is doing a ‘Buy Life’ campaign in which many of your favorite celebrities who are constantly tweeting are going to die virtually until $1,000,000 is raised. Not only do I love the concept and the fact that celebrities are supporting such a great cause, but the ad campaign and art direction is amazing.
